Vice News is proud to bring you the latest in the evolution of the “big lie” theory.
As a student of mathematics, my professors and I were always taught that if you tried to measure the number of different things in a system, it would always end up being more complex than the system itself.
If you wanted to know whether a certain set of numbers was greater than the rest of the system, you had to measure every single number on every single axis.
If all those numbers were greater than 0, then you couldn’t know the answer to the question of whether all the numbers were less than 0.
This was called the “Big Lie” and it stuck.
The Big Lie was never taught to students and we still believe it to be true today.
But is this true?
Does it really have any basis in fact?
In this video, we explore how the Big Lie actually works.
