The donation will be credited to your Google account, which you can then use to access the textbook.

If you want to give your old textbooks to an open source textbook publisher, you have to follow a few guidelines.
First, the textbook publisher has to charge for the books.
If the books are donated to an organization, you must pay for them, too.
Second, you will need to set up an account with Google, so that the publisher can pay you for the textbooks.
